FIRST TRY: Video Editing ft. Krystal Pérez

  • Woodstock Library 6008 Southeast 49th Avenue Portland, OR, 97206 United States (map)

This event is tied to a circuit of workshops, in partnership with Multnomah County Library, called FIRST TRY. The concept behind these sessions is to create an opportunity to learn about specific aspects of audio/video and help connect the dots on how you can get started + further your understanding.

Stoked to have Krystal Pérez as a guest presenter for this class focused on video editing. Krystal is a creative powerhouse, utilizing a wide variety of mediums to express her visual storytelling. She has also taught video editing through PCC, focused on building new faces up with the knowledge they need to get started making the video you may be envisioning in your head.

This class is completely free, and we welcome any skill levels to come hang out. We all are just having fun digging into the tools together. We will be using Davinci Resolve, which is free to use if you want to further your journey in editing at home.

If you never thought you’d explore something like this - there’s a first try for everything.
